Due to the successful nature of the three-year relationship, ING DIRECT has engaged Devtopia Digital to help redesign their underlying architecture based on a J2EE framework. In addition, Devtopia Digital has been engaged to develop several other key applications for ING, including a fraud system, an ecommerce engine, an outbound email engine, and 'touch-less' sign-up applications - allowing customers to open and fund an account with no human intervention.

GENESIS™ revealed that people buying insurance feel unprepared and uninformed when dealing with their brokers. Yield and Devtopia Digital redesigned the ING site from the user’s perspective. We used a Google-based back-end platform and created the site functionality around one word: SEARCH. Just like Google, the user would receive a scroll down of hundreds of rank-ordered responses to their query about any aspect of property and casualty insurance.

Our relationship with Apple dates back to the early 1990's. Devtopia Digital helped roll out the first results of the Apple Canada Web initiative. We have developed strong relationships with the sales, marketing, education, human resources and technical departments at Apple Canada and Apple US.

Devtopia Digital has staff who have helped build Apple products. In addition to general Apple website maintenance, Devtopia Digital has delivered tradeshow solutions for Apple, Apple Canada's Human Resources intranet site, specialized Apple marketing email solutions and several applications such as the Apple Canada Golf Day registration site.

After 5 years it was time to re-fresh the 407 website to reflect the new consumer offerings and the new energy of the highway. Yield and Devtopia Digital conducted stakeholder research and learned that over 90% of all site visits concerned three key blocks of information - My Account, 407 ETR Information, and Products and Services - as well as four basic functions - Pre-Authorized Payments, Bill Paying, Transponder Orders, and Rewards. By concentrating these functions in distinct screen space, we were able to leave a large "advertising" space for promotions such as 407ETR Rewards and incentives for e-billing.

Knightsbridge is Canada’s fastest growing Human Capital Solutions organization. They create innovative solutions to complex human capital challenges. Knightsbridge delivers services such as talent attraction, assessment and coaching, organizational and leadership development, career management and transition.

In collaboration with Yield integrated, Devtopia Digital redesigned the Knightsbridge corporate website providing new information architecture, design and branding. The implementation also includes a content management system allowing Knightsbride staff to edit and add content directly without cost or restriction. Versions of the site were provided in both French and English.

Budco provides marketing communication and fulfillment services to some of the world's leading companies. Their goal is to help customers by reducing costs, increasing revenues, enhancing loyalty and reducing cycle time. As health care issues become a pressing corporate concern, Budco's Health Care group grown significantly.

To provide an effective way for employers to control and reduce their health care costs, Devtopia Digital built a web-based application called the "Dependent Audit" solution. It provides the ability to check an employee's and a dependant's health care enrollment status, verifying for eligibility. The application provides functionality such as:

• System interfaces for 14 different roles including phone agents, auditors, third party administrators and employees
• Web based User Interface dashboards for reporting and management containing statistical representations regarding audit success rates
• Web based User Interface for IT to create new production and training environments and setup the required access, account, database, etc
• Receipt, scanning and storage of sensitive documents provided by companies and their employees
• Merging of the electronic documents with electronic data for the employee and dependants

The RCYC is one of Canada’s premiere sailing and social clubs dating back to the mid 1800s. Devtopia Digital provided full web design, portal implementation and hosting services for the Royal Canadian Yacht Club. The site uses new portal software and provides RCYC with an easy-to-use content management system. The site also provides over 5000 club members with useful and fun functionality such as:

Over the last 2 years the Accupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute has experienced a lower level of participation and involvement from its members, a reduction in the growth and retention of its membership, and a reduction in enrolment in its continuing education courses.

In order to retain and grow its membership and registration numbers in continuing education programs, AFCI asked Devtopia Digital to provide a web strategy and solution that would enable them to reconnect with its members.

To this end, Devtopia Digital developed a virtual community adopting the best tools possible to meet member needs. The discussion forums allow interaction and discussion amongst members and industry stakeholders. This is a unique place for the industry, where regulatory and practice issues can be discussed and ideas shared amongst colleagues. The site provides education and awareness of the health benefits of acupuncture to its target market of licensed practitioners in the health field, to the public, government and regulatory bodies.

Leo Baeck is the only Reform Jewish day school in Canada. The school has two campuses, one on Atkinson Avenue in Thornhill and one at Holy Blossom Temple in Toronto. The currently have over 800 children from Junior Kindergarten to Grade Eight across both campuses.

The entire site from conception to implementation was engineered by Devtopia Digital and we continue to provide support to this site. With a highly configurable calender, photo galleries managed by the parents and teachers, and online newsletters this site is a great mesh of elements to give the user a tremendous overall experience.

CNA Insurance engaged us to develop an online application for generating certificates of insurance for ocean-going cargo. CNA was already using client-server technology that accomplished this task, from a company called Insurance Systems Inc. We were brought in to lead the web integration effort, assist in establishing hosting facilities, and promoting the system to brokers.

We developed an entire application that collected information from users, passed this information to the "black-box" for rating, stored that information into a back-end database system, and returned results to the user.

The site was successfully launched in September 2000, and was CNAs first successful commercial insurance application available via the web.

The Heart and Stroke / Richard Lewar Centre of Excellence engaged us to design and develop a website that reflected the leading edge cardiovascular research and education for which the Centre is known.

We designed and developed a website and content management system that the client uses for updating educational events, news, member directory and research documents.

The site was successfully launched in January 2002, and continues to be an effective web presence for the HSRLCE. Devtopia Digital hosts and maintains the HSRLCE website as well as two other specialized sites related to cardiovascular research at the University of Toronto.

211 Community Information and Volunteer Centre - York Region (CIVC) is a non-for-profit organization governed by a community-based Board of Directors. CIVC needed a website to help strengthen region-wide information & referral and volunteer development services. It was also a requirement of the website to integrate the existing CIVC database and preliminary volunteer matching and organization search tools.

The CIVC website features dynamic sections for each of the 9 York Region municipalities, each with their own "what's on" calendar and workshops listing. A content management area allows CIVC staff to update the site.The site also integrates on-line.
